BRÖÖ

RecyclaA couple of months ago, Recycla was given some products by BRÖÖ to review. BRÖÖ makes shampoos, conditioners, and body washes using different beers as the base ingredients. Recycla does not like beer, but a friend of hers raved about the products and then arranged for Recycla to get some freebies, so she gave them a try.

120x410-BrooBottles_Citrus1First, the basic information: BRÖÖ products are made without solvents or petrochemicals. They also contain no sulfates, no parabens, no phthalates, no silicones, no harsh preservatives (only food-grade ones), no added colors or dyes, and no synthetic fragrances. So while BRÖÖ products aren’t organic, they’re more than acceptable in Recycla’s book.

Recycla was sent volumizing American Pale Ale shampoo and conditioner, as well as Citrus Pale Ale and Oatmeal Porter body washes. Recycla is normally dubious about any product that claims that it will do miraculous things to hair or skin, so she was pleasantly surprised to discover that the volumizing shampoo and conditioner delivered noticeable results. Her hair was definitely bouncier and fuller, plus it smelled terrific.

As for the body washes, Recycla used them to shave her legs, rather than cleanse her body. (She already has a soap that she loves beyond all belief.) Her skin was silky smooth and well moisturized afterward. She loved the smells of both products — one was orangey and one was more like brown sugar and baked goods.

A friend of Recycla’s has also reviewed BRÖÖ’s products too, which you can read here.

Recycla is still working on the bottle of shampoo and conditioner that were sent to her and enjoying the daily process of getting clean.
