Stinky pits

Recycla has a confession to make:

While most of her personal care products are organic, she does not use organic deodorant. Why? Because most organic deodorants are not antiperspirants and Recycla simply cannot live with damp arm pits.

This is a shameful secret for someone committed to saving Planet Earth, but Recycla shares this with you so that you can see that no one is perfect, no one can do everything, but that we all can do something. Recycla just happens to draw the line at big wet spots in the pit area of her shirts.

If any readers are using (or have used) organic deodorants, Recycla would be interested in hearing about your experiences.

I use CertainDri. I have to choose between polluting the air with my stink or using a little non-organic antiperspirant. Not a tough call, really ;)

No deodorants or antiperspirants for me. I was born with genes not requiring those things. I am leaving a comment because I’ve failed to do so while lurking and getting all types of tips from your new endeavour. Keep up the good work.

My 17 year old son uses an organic deodorant because he broke out in a rash whenever he used a commercial one. He doesn’t have a sweat issue, he just needs to mask the boy stink.

I just wrote a blog post on this. I tried lots of things, but currently use baking soda and Thai Crystal Spray Mist

Here is my post, if you want to check it out:
